Lighten up

It’s easy to take yourself too seriously. When we have moments of inspiration, we think we can conquer the world. But when we are less positive, it seems that nothing can go right.  The antidote for the roller coaster: Lighten up!

Every little thing in life is not a matter of life or death. One group calls the human tendency to think the worst “awful-izing.” “If I can’t get my haircut by noon today, it will be terrible and my whole day will be ruined.” Really? I don’t think so. Concentration camp prisoners have survived. Amputees and persons suffering from brain damage, go on. Perspective makes all the difference, doesn’t it?
